Hi, it’s Shelby again.

I am having a great time learning guitar. My teachers name is Nick (A.K.A. “Nailo”) and he’s the best music teacher I’ve ever had, really! He is very nice and fun. He teaches all instruments. I chose guitar. He taught me the string names and parts of the guitar. I thought it wouldn’t be important, but boy was I wrong! It’s very important to learn all these basics!

A super cool thing was that he came to our house for my lessons. He offers this service to all his music students. I like working one-on-one with him. I don’t know why, it just suits my personality I guess. Nick helped me a lot, and I can’t wait to learn some songs to play for my friends and family. Also, it will be good when my fingers get more callused so they don’t hurt. Nick says it won’t take much longer. If you and your parents are thinking about music lessons, this is your guy!

We are parents, both with interesting family histories and heritage relating to music.  For the past five years, we exposed our eldest daughter (now 10) to music lessons. Sadly, she went through the motions of learning without much passion. However, after taking lessons with this teacher, all that changed. Nick is a wonderful instructor and helped Shelby find an interest and love for music, which makes us very happy! Nick’s teaching style is gentle but persuasive. His love of guitar and music has caught on to her, for the first time!
