This is “Egg Foo Young-ish” (Egg, spinach, ham, and coconut pancakes), the recipe is from Nom Nom Paleo. Also had some cantaloupe. There’s only 2 more days left in my fitness challenge! Tomorrow is my Birthday, so I’m going to cheat. But I’ll still be conscious of what I’m eating. I have a goal to meet!
Worked out with Baby Boot Camp (Los Angeles – Culver City and Marina Del Rey) at Playa Vista today. It was a good workout (as usual), and we did a lot of mat work. We used the bands too. It’s always a full-body workout, which is great, because if you miss a class or go consecutive days, you don’t have to worry about not working out a muscle group.
Running is something I struggle with. after I ran the Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon in 2009, I injured my knee. Since working out every day in my fitness challenge, my knee started to hurt less. My body pains now are mostly from working out, so it’s the good kind of pain. Because running is difficult for me, I want to work harder at it. I plan on running the Kickin’ Cancer 5K Run/Walk in a few weeks, and a friend is trying to convince me to do a Mud Run in October!

Culver City Farmer’s Market
Aria barely napped today, so we were able to meet up with our friends at the Culver City Farmer’s Market. I love this farmer’s market because it’s mid-afternoon. Aria ate every single fruit sample I gave her. It really is delicious fruit, but wow did she have an appetite!
There was this Reggae singer who sings children’s songs and has a blanket out with musical instruments for kids to play with. I put the ukulele on Aria and she plucked it!
Dinner was Orange Sriracha Wings, made from the recipe Orange Sriracha Chicken from Nom Nom Paleo and roasted brussel sprouts. Despite the name, the wings weren’t too spicy. I even gave some to Aria and she liked it.
