Day 2 of Challenge and Other stuff I did today
Today is day 2 of my fitness challenge.
Today’s class was fun. On Saturdays, the husbands can join, and mine did today. We rarely work out together, so it was kind of fun to do so today. I liked that he could see the kind of exercises we do in class and that they really are a challenge. Melinda and Elizabeth, the trainers, really know their stuff. A few of the dads said they worked out muscles they don’t normally use, and that was cool to hear!

I’m trying to eat Paleo-inspired meals during my 5 week challenge. It’s been a bit of an adjustment not eating starches and grains. I’m not as full from my meals, and it’s hard to think of what to make.
Today, we went to Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Day at The Autry. My husband and I went to this event while we were dating, so it was fun to attend with our child! We bought our tickets on Goldstar, which had them discounted for $5. It also included admission to the museum.
We participated in the record-breaking “Trick Roping Record” event. We received a certificate and got a free trick rope!

Overall, a fun-filled day for the family!
