Baby Boot Camp’s MOLO 2017 (Mother Love Wellness Challenge) started this week. Baby Boot Camp Culver City kicked it off with a Salad-In-A-Jar party at Melinda (one of the trainer’s) house. There, we took measurements, socialized, and assembled salads for the week.
The “assignments” so far:
- Plan your workouts and outfits for the week
- Start your mornings with lemon water
- Set your S.M.A.R.T. goals
Here are my S.M.A.R.T. goals:
Lose 10 pounds
I know it’s partly age, but I feel like every year I have the same ten pounds to lose. My goal, once again, is to lose 10 pounds.
Lose two inches in my waist
This is mainly because I’d like to fit into a lot of my jeans again. I don’t want to buy new clothes, and I want my old clothes to fit again. Also, I hate shopping for clothes if its for a larger size.
Eat more salad + meal prep
I’m so glad we had the salad-in-a-jar party because that made lunches really easy. It also gave me the opportunity to combine a lot of new things to salads I don’t normally have when I make them at home. It inspired me to use more beans and nuts in salads, which gives it some nice texture and crunch!
Exercise at least two to three times a week
This is a realistic goal. Normally, I would aim for five days a week and burn myself out. Two to three days a week is more realistic. Exercise also makes me feel better, mentally.
Hopefully, I can continue this journey of health and wellness well past the eight-week course. I’ll check in every week!
