MOLO Fitness Challenge…Accepted!
I’m back in LA after spending the past three weeks on the East Coast with my parents and family. It was a nice break from being a full-time-mom because my parents took care of my child 90% of the time. I was sick on and off from the cold weather and flying, but managed to fend off full-blown sickness by taking Airborne twice a day. The first week, I was really good about working out – I had workout dates with friends who exercise regularly. After that, the cold got to me and I got lazy. I ate dessert every single day. I don’t feel bad about it, because I know it was temporary. Surprisingly, I didn’t gain any weight from indulging, but I can see and feel that I’ve gotten a little flabby. I brought a pair of jeans that fit me just right and wore them for the first half of my trip. During the second half, I wore leggings.
Now that I’m back, it’s a new year and time for new challenges. I wish I was mentally and physically ready for a Spartan Race, but I know I am not. Today, I went back to Baby Boot Camp Los Angeles (Culver City and Marina Del Rey) and signed up for their MOLO (Mother Love Fitness Challenge). It’s a fitness challenge for Baby Boot Camp members to help them meet their personal goals. We will take before and after photos, and take body measurements. When I did my personal fitness challenge last year, I did it alone. I’m really excited about the MOLO Challenge because I’ll be doing it with my Baby Boot Camp friends, who are all fit moms!
