Moms night out at Hollywood Bowl

Last night three friends and I went to go see Mamma Mia at the Bowl. Honestly, I have to say it was a perfect night out without kids and husbands.

Our friend Jenny got the tickets for us and then we met at The park-and-ride and took the Hollywood Bowl shuttle from Sherman Oaks. We purchased the tickets before which were less than $10 – parking at the Hollywood Bowl is a minimum of $17 and takes forever to get out of the lots. We rode the shuttle over the hill which really made things less complicated and more relaxed – it was a little chaotic after the show to find our shuttle bus but now that I’ve done it I think it won’t be a problem next time.

We all brought something to drink and eat to share. It was so yummy. The show was great, really great! We danced, sang and bonded. It was star studded with Dove Cameron, Jennifer Nettles, Steven Weber, Jaime Camil, Lea DeLaria to name a few. Although the show was fabulous I don’t think it really mattered what show it was – the atmosphere, energy, friends, good food, vino etc made it all wonderful!

I would suggest doing this with girlfriends at least once or twice a year – A flawless night out to reboot our mommy batteries 🙂
