Today, my daughter and I attended the VIP launch event for the PUMAxHELLOKITTY collaboration at Shoe Palace on Melrose. In addition to the grand reveal, there was a POP-UP tattoo (yes, real tattoo) parlor, nail bar by Masako – Sanrio’s very own nail artist, beverage bar, treats from the Hello Kitty Cafe truck, D.J. Bad Ash spinning some tunes, and a photo-op with Hello Kitty (dressed in Puma gear).

The same products are on sale online February 8th, but quantities are limited. The sneakers are available in women’s sizes, junior (kid) sizes, and infant sizes. My tiny feet saved me $35.00 because I fit in the junior size shoe, which retails for $75, as opposed to $110 for the women’s size shoe. Thankfully, my kid wasn’t heartbroken when I didn’t buy her (infant-sized $65.00) shoes, because she was satisfied with cotton candy.

Besides sneakers, there is a red and white warm-up (hoodie and track pants, sold separately), t-shirt, backpack, hat, and gym sack.

Really cool event. Check my insta for more pics.
