Rose Art Kid-friendly Event at Santa Monica Pier on Tuesday

Beverley Mitchell and ROSEART® create “Football field-sized” chalk-paint mural at SANTA MONICA PIER, inspiring kids to get outside and be creative

RoseArt will donate $50,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, funding art programs

WHO:

This kid-friendly event is open to the public

WHAT:

Beverley Mitchell, actress and celebrity mom (best known as “Lucy” on 7th Heaven) and RoseArt are creating a “football field-sized” chalk-paint mural at the Santa Monica Pier, celebrating art and creativity now that the weather is getting warmer from coast-to-coast. The massive mural will feature a giant sun with seven interactive play zones for kids and beachgoers to enjoy.

To support nationally, RoseArt will donate $50,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America during the event.  With budget limitations a constant threat to the arts, the donation will support Club art programs coast-to-coast.

With RoseArt Washable Sidewalk Chalk Paint as the medium, the interactive mural is the largest work of art ever at the Santa Monica Pier. Occupying nearly 40,000 square feet of blacktop space, the mural will require more than 2,500 pounds of Certified Non-Toxic chalk paint and roughly 360 man-hours. RoseArt Washable Sidewalk Chalk Paint transforms any sidewalk or blacktop surface into a blank canvas.
