Sunday Workouts with Baby Boot Camp at Helms Bakery District

bbc_sundays

For some, September means the return of Pro Football. For others, like myself, it means I’ll be a “football widow” the next few months. I tried caring about football in the past, especially when first dating my now-husband, but I’ve come to realize it’s just not my thing. Most of L.A. is excited about the return of the Rams. I almost joined the bandwagon and bought a Rams T-shirt because it looked cute, but decided against it because 1) I didn’t want to be a poser, and 2) I have no idea if the team will do well or not.

Instead of wondering what to do Sunday mornings when my husband abandons me for a sports bar, I can head over to Helms Bakery with my kid and get my workout on with Baby Boot Camp Los Angeles (Culver City and Marina Del Rey). Melinda and Elizabeth, trainers and co-owners, moved their weekend class from Saturday to Sunday this fall to accommodate their children’s soccer schedule. This works out great for “football widows” such as myself.

The first class is free, so it’s worth giving it a shot. Weekend class is also “family day,” so partners are also welcome.
