Five Fun Things We Did at WinterFest OC 2016

Article and Photos By Maria Aldana

Last week, my family and I attended OC’s Winter Fest at the Orange County fairgrounds.  We loved the festive spirit the moment we entered and we were excited to start exploring.

Here are our top 5 favorites at Winter Fest:

Santa’s Workshop

My 3-year old son loved making crafts in Santa’s workshop, it was interactive and there was a nice variety of craft-making activities for all ages!

Bounce Houses

The perfect activity to release some toddler energy! My son couldn’t wait to get into the bounce houses and start jumping away. The size was perfect for toddlers to enjoy and it didn’t feel overwhelming with older children. “I love this bounce house!” quoted my son, Skye.

Cartoon character live

We only caught the last few minutes of the live show, but my son was excited to see the Angry Birds characters for that quick moment.

Giant Ornament Bulb

Who doesn’t love taking a photo in this giant sparkly ornament?

Ice Skating

My son didn’t want to ice skate, but we loved how the ice skating rink was outside this year and we enjoyed watching the ice skaters and having it outside added that extra holiday feel!

Winter Fest OC is definitely perfect for all ages and fun for the whole family! I can’t forget the food trucks, there was a nice variety to choose from!

You should definitely plan to attend the next Winter Fest OC!
