SONG OF THE SEA<\/strong><\/a> is a new film from Tomm Moore<\/strong><\/a>, the Academy Award-nominated director of \u201cThe Secret of Kells<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d Honored by Common Sense Media<\/strong><\/a> with their official Seal as recognition of the film\u2019s positive messages and enriching storyline,\u00a0GKIDS Films<\/strong><\/a> is excited to share the film with members of Westside Mommy and their families!<\/p>\n

Song of the Sea<\/strong><\/a> tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse, the last Seal-child, who embark on a fantastic journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea. The film takes inspiration from the mythological Selkies of Irish folklore, who live as seals in the sea but become humans on land.<\/p>\n
