I&#8217;d been to the <a href=\"http:\/\/southcoastbotanicgarden.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>South Coast Botanic Garden<\/strong><\/a> once before, for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westsidemommy.com\/site\/club-momme-fall-family-fest-2014\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Club MomMe&#8217;s Fall Family Fest<\/strong><\/a>. This time, it was a fun run through the gardens. I think I was the only person (or at least one of the few) who did not bring my kid. I invited my husband to join, but it was way too early for him to wake up on a Sunday, so he had toddler duty! <\/p>\n<h3>The course<\/h3>\n<p>Here is a <a href=\"http:\/\/southcoastbotanicgarden.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/SCBG-2015-MAP.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>link to a map of The South Coast Botanic Garden<\/strong><\/a>. The course was three laps around on Tram Road. It was a fun run, so it was not timed. I tracked my own time using my cellphone. There were some hills, and I&#8217;d like to blame them for my slow time of 37 minutes (my personal goal was to run it in less than 30 minutes). I wish I was faster, because the person who finished first won a <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1QqNMI7\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BOB stroller<\/strong><\/a>! There were families and groups of all sizes. It was admirable to see everyone with their jogging strollers and push-trikes. I was impressed by the dad who pushed a triple stroller. Talk about fancy! A bottle of super-purified drinking water sure beats the sad Dixie cups of water offered at other runs. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/clubmomme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Club MomMe<\/a> <\/strong>events always have great vendors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobgear.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BOB<\/strong><\/a> was the title sponsor for the event. People who registered for the event had the option to choose a stroller at a discount. In addition, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/clubmomme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Club MomMe<\/a><\/strong> gave away a few <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobgear.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BOB<\/strong><\/a> strollers at the event. There was even a mini course to test out the different <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobgear.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BOB<\/strong><\/a> stroller.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/wwww.littletikes.com\" target=\"_blank\">Little Tikes<\/a> <\/strong>was an activity sponsor and provided some awesome <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1dfX4tK\">igloo play structures called &#8220;Tunnel and Dome Climber&#8221;<\/a> for the kids. My daughter tried it out really liked it. Although my daughter wasn&#8217;t with me at the event, I was able to see other options available. I&#8217;m a kid at heart (and not much taller than one), and scooted around in the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1AOZtGA\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Micro Sprite<\/strong><\/a>! I really enjoyed it, and might have to put one on my wish list! I already use <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1GlKPJt\" target=\"_blank\">Babyganics products<\/a> <\/strong>for my daughter (we like the bubble bath and the lotion), but I got a sample of <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1FV9ukA\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Babyganics sunscreen<\/strong><\/a> to try out!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m glad I tried out a bottle healthy <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1GlLbjb\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Suja juice<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>because apparently they ran out of their stock pretty early. I felt good about drinking their healthiest drink which was full of green veggies!<\/p>\n<p>Out of all the cold coffee flavors from <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1ALvkIs\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>High Brew Coffee<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1eQAby1\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mexican Vanilla<\/strong><\/a> was my favorite. It was difficult to decide, because they were all really tasty, but <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1eQAh90\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Salted Caramel<\/strong><\/a> was a close second.<\/p>\n<p>I picked up some juices for my daughter to try &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1GlM0IV\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Honest Kids juice<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/cutiescitrus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Cuties<\/strong><\/a> tangerine juice (I had no idea they made juice!)<\/p>\n<p>I pretty much had lunch there by snacking on goodies from <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1eQAvgk\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>KIND<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1Q7SWha\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Nature&#8217;s Bakery<\/strong><\/a>, and ate pizza from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freshbrothers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Fresh Brothers<\/strong><\/a>. What&#8217;s lunch without dessert? Yummy fruit pops from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chloesfruit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Chloe&#8217;s soft serve fruit<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also learned about a lot of cool services and even got a massage from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Zeel<\/strong><\/a> in-home massage.<\/p>\n<h4>Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!
