\"WSM_CuriousGeorge_main\"<\/a>Aria loves Curious George. We read A Treasury of Curious George<\/em><\/a> to her since she was a baby. Now, she refers to him as \u201cMonkey George.\u201d So when I heard there was a Curious George exhibit<\/strong><\/a> at Discovery Cube Los Angeles<\/strong><\/a>, I knew we had to visit!<\/p>\n

Discovery Cube Los Angeles<\/strong><\/a> was on my list of places to visit, so I’m glad I finally went. It was nice to spend the day indoors last Saturday, because it was over 100 degrees that day. The drive to Discovery Cube Los Angeles<\/strong><\/a> from West L.A. wasn\u2019t too bad – it\u2019s located near the 210 and 118 freeways near Pacoima in Los Angeles. The museum is big with high ceilings and has two stories. There\u2019s plenty to do and see, and you can easily spend a few hours without experiencing everything. We spent most of our time at\u00a0 Curious George\u2122: Let\u2019s Get Curious<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Space Rocket<\/h2>\n

It may look like a slide, but to Curious George fans, it\u2019s the space rocket from the story Curious George and the Rocket. Parents, put your cameras on video mode to capture your mini space cadets make their way back to \u201cearth.\u201d

Construction Site<\/h2>\n

Conveyor belts, cranks, and more! The construction site has foam blocks of varying shapes and sizes for stacking and building fun! \"WSM-construction\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Museum within a Museum<\/h2>\n

Fun facts and interesting tidbits for the grown-ups to read about the history of Curious George through the years.<\/p>\n

Apartment Building<\/h2>\n

Aria’s favorite thing was to open and shut the “elevator door” to see Curious George. Here, kids can dress up as the doorman and open elevators, yank pulleys, and more in this fun apartment building.<\/p>\n

The Farm<\/h2>\n

Aria loved playing with the cute stuffed barnyard toys. There were also windmills, wind socks, and wind chimes!<\/p>\n

Who needs to go to a course when you can create one! The mini golf section is open to interpretation – customize it with pipes, funnels, and more or play it plain.<\/p>\n

Everything here is kid-sized, so weighing produce and ringing up the cash register is fun! There are plenty of fun, bright, fake fruits to play with.<\/p>\n
