The following post is by my friend, Jonna. She is a mother of two and introduced me to Tae Ryong Brentwood<\/strong><\/a> Taekwondo studio. I asked her to write about the change she saw in her daughters since they started classes. I also asked her daughter Shelby<\/strong><\/a> to write about her experience. Here is what they had to say.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mom’s Point of view (by Jonna)<\/h2>\n

About a month ago I signed my two daughters (ages 5 and 9) up for Taekwondo at Tae Ryong Brentwood<\/strong><\/a>. Someone suggested it because both my girls have a problem with focus, confidence, discipline and following direction \u2013 yes, a fun life for mom!<\/p>\n

My older daughter, Shelby, previously tried other martial arts schools and classes around the Westside. Shelby didn’t connect with any of the teachers and begged not to return. So here we are, about a year later, and I\u2019m thrilled<\/strong><\/em> to finally have found\u00a0Tae Ryong Brentwood<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong> It’s a place my girls love<\/em><\/strong>. Master Quan<\/strong><\/a> is awesome! He has a true gift for inspiring my girls. The students get a thorough workout and my girls definitely sleep more soundly at night! Now, they beg to go to class everyday and are upset when they cannot. Also, (you\u2019ll love this) being respectful to your parents is one of the main mottos of this school! The change in my two monkeys is totally remarkable and they\u2019re making my life as a mom easier \u2013 I only yell a few<\/em> times a day instead of all day!<\/p>\n

Also, there is a kick-ass workout for adults a few days a week. It’s a combination of cardio and technique and there is free, (yes FREE) childcare! Call the studio for more information. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

I am very glad that I decided to go to Taekwondo at\u00a0Tae Ryong Brentwood<\/strong><\/a>. Master Quan<\/strong><\/a> is very nice. He teaches us so well! He also lets us play dodge ball after class if we have time. He makes every moment fun! I highly recommend you go to Tae Ryong Brentwood<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n
