\"Popples<\/p>\n

I grew up in the 80s, so I was excited when heard about the revamp of\u00a0Popples<\/strong><\/a>. The fun-loving mythical creature that transforms from a ball shape, to something with arms and legs is a piece of my childhood I am happy to introduce to my own kid.<\/p>\n

Last week, we attended a media party for\u00a0Popples<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0season 2 on Netflix. Celebrity guest hosts were:\u00a0Soleil Moon Frye<\/a><\/strong>, Molly Sims<\/a><\/strong>, Jamie-Lynn Sigler<\/a><\/strong>, and singer Megan Nicole<\/a><\/strong>. Also hosting the event was Baby2Baby<\/a><\/strong>, a non-profit which provides low-income families with diapers, clothing, and other basic necessities for their children.<\/p>\n

My daughter didn’t know what to make of these creatures at first (a costumed\u00a0Popples<\/strong><\/a> character named “Bubbles” was there to pose for photos), but eventually decided she liked them. There were plenty of kid-friendly Popple-themed activities at the event such as: ball toss, face painting, coloring, and cake pop decorating. We had fun decorating (and eating) a cake pop! The event was held at Lombardi House in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
