My daughter and I had a great time at SoCal Moms<\/strong><\/a>‘\u00a0Great Big Family Play Day<\/strong><\/a>! I’m glad we got there early, because we were lucky to find a parking spot near the grounds of The Autry<\/strong><\/a>, where the event took place. (When my husband met up with us after noon, the closest spot he could find was in a lot very far away!)<\/p>\n

There were so many things to see and experience. It was a very fun day, where I learned about some new businesses, products, and best of all – listen to some great music! Here are some of my daughter’s favorite experiences today:<\/p>\n

We saw Lisa Loeb perform two sets at the event – once at 10:00am, and again at noon. It was a blast from the\u00a0past (Who does not remember and love “Stay”?), which I was happy to enjoy with my daughter, who will now know Lisa as a cool lady who sang “Father Abraham.” Lisa has a new, exclusively to\u00a0Amazon CD called Nursery Rhyme Parade!<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>It is a 37-song album of nursery rhyme favorites.<\/p>\n
