Yesterday, my family and I attended the\u00a0Sesame Street: K is for Kindness Tour<\/a><\/b>,\u00a0a free, multi-city experiential pop-up tour timed to and inspired by the new, 47<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span> season of Sesame Street<\/span><\/a>, the gold standard in children\u2019s television. My daughter takes a little bit of time (and a few visits) to warm-up to people and things, so it was a good thing we were able to attend early in the morning for the special blogger “meet-and-greet”. There, we got a sneak preview of the event space, which included a themed stage, \u00a0a library containing several Sesame Street books, a tablet game-playing area, and a photo “booth” area.<\/span><\/p>\n

My daughter loved the tablet area the most. Since we had to attend a friend’s birthday party to attend at 11am that day, we left but came back in time for the third (and final) show of the day at 2:45pm. She really enjoyed the 15-minute stage show, which focused on acceptance, love, and kindness in the form of singing and dancing. We stayed for story time, where the reader enthusiastically read “The Monster at the End of This Book<\/strong><\/a>“, “Another Monster at the End of This Book<\/strong><\/a>“, and “Elmo Loves You<\/strong><\/a>“.<\/p>\n

We hope the Sesame Tour comes back, because we enjoyed it so much!<\/p>\n
