She attended the NYX<\/strong><\/a> Mom’s Night Out (by special media invitation) at Westfield Century City<\/a> for WestsideMommy.com<\/a> last week. Below is her experience!<\/em><\/p>\n

Anything that forces me to shower and get out of the house past 7PM<\/span><\/span> is already a winner in my book. So as I was sitting in LA traffic, with no makeup on, and already an hour late, I was thrilled to be going to the NYX<\/strong><\/a> Mom\u2019s Night Out event (ultimate #momgame). Mama needed some me time.<\/p>\n

We were celebrating the grand opening of their new store at Westfield Century City<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0NYX<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0pulled out all the stops! There was a nail station, a lip artist, eye makeup touch ups, a photo booth that made us look like models (thank you), the teeniest pink donut treats\u2014yummo\u2014and a private tour of the new store, which featured some pink neon signs that I obviously lurved. I learned the right way to use lip liner, and the\u00a0NYX<\/strong><\/a> products were surprisingly good quality and super affordable. The highlight of the night was stopping by the whimsical lip reader station.\u00a0 Not like reading your lips and knowing what you\u2019re saying, but a lady who reads the lines of your lipstick smooch and gives you insight to your personality.\u00a0 Passionate? Harmonious? Ethical?\u00a0 I\u2019ll take it!<\/p>\n

They spoiled us with an amazing gift bag\u2014a cute pink train case holding lip creams, eye shadow, eye and lip liners, highlighter, glitter, brushes, and my favorite\u2014the\u00a0NYX<\/strong><\/a> \u201cNaked\u201d nude makeup palette that has 14 shadows, blush, and highlighters all in one mirrored compact\u2014perfect for moms who do their makeup in 5 minutes or less!<\/p>\n

Side note, my most surprising little discovery was the Hint water<\/a> they served at the bar (no, I didn\u2019t have champagne, and no I\u2019m not preggo).\u00a0 I had their yummy\/healthy watermelon infused sparkling water and it was SO good\u2014can\u2019t wait to drink it again this summer.<\/p>\n

Thanks again to\u00a0NYX<\/strong><\/a> and their awesome team! Will definitely be hitting them up soon the next time I need some fun new makeup.<\/p>\n
