The show is amazing<\/b>: worth the time, worth the money!<\/b><\/h2>\n

My family and I have always\u00a0loved [amazon_textlink asin=’B00WR534TK’ text=’Aladdin’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’westmomm-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’865126fd-f81b-11e7-aea0-c17eb3b169a1′], the 1992 animated\u00a0movie from Disney<\/strong><\/a>. So,\u00a0It was super\u00a0fun taking\u00a0my seven year old\u00a0daughter to see\u00a0the new Broadway production at the wonderful Hollywood Pantages<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This show is amazing and quite true to the original animated\u00a0movie. Easy to understand for the younger kids and they didn’t try to make it too sophisticated, like some previous Disney<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0productions I have seen. This was done perfectly!<\/p>\n

The costumes, scenery and sets\u00a0were beautiful. The music score,\u00a0singing and choreography all wonderful. Aladdin (Adam Jacobs<\/strong>)\u00a0and Jasmine (Isabelle McCalla<\/strong>)\u00a0had very\u00a0good\u00a0chemistry and both are\u00a0totally\u00a0adorable and talented.<\/p>\n

The Genie (Michael James Scott<\/strong>) stole the show. After his big first act\u00a0number, “Friend Like Me”, he actually\u00a0received\u00a0a standing ovation. I’ve never witnessed that before! Perhaps the extended\u00a0standing applause was just\u00a0because of his\u00a0exuberant performance. However,\u00a0I think it could also\u00a0be a little about our sadness at the\u00a0loss of Robin Williams, who\u00a0originated the role in the animated movie.<\/p>\n

It was a lovely evening and\u00a0I highly recommend the musical\u00a0Disney’s “Aladdin”<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for your whole family!<\/p>\n

I loved Aladdin!<\/h2>\n

My favorite character was the Genie who\u00a0was really funny.\u00a0Aladdin<\/strong><\/em> was good at playing his character too and Jasmine<\/strong> was so\u00a0great and has a\u00a0beautiful singing voice.\u00a0I wish I had her costumes! Everyone was so good and I loved the dancing and singing so much.<\/p>\n

Oh, did you know that at these big shows there is a live\u00a0band called an orchestra? You can’t see them but they are there under the stage.<\/p>\n

It was so good I want to see it again! It was fun to be with my mom alone but\u00a0I wish my sister could have seen it too.<\/p>\n

Aladdin<\/strong><\/em> was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in a long time. It is magictastic<\/em>!!!<\/p>\n
