There’s a new-old game show coming to Universal Kids<\/strong><\/a> where kids compete for money and charity. Today’s BEAT THE CLOCK<\/strong><\/a> is a remake of the television game show of the same name, popular in the 1950s. Contestants play games of skill, and have to complete the task in a predetermined allotted amount of time. We, along with other bloggers and media invites, watched an episode of “Beat the Clock” before it aired. In the episode we saw, teams of two (related kids) competed against the clock and each other for monetary prizes. The games seemed simple, but as we learned later by playing them during the press event, they are harder then they seem! I loved watching the kids work together on the various tasks. They all seemed to have a good attitude and positive outlook, regardless if they won or not. That, in my opinion, is the most important lesson of all.<\/p>\n
