Earlier this week, I attended Jim Henson’s Family Hub 2nd Series Summit<\/strong>. Before I get into what we learned at that event (which I will write about in a separate post), I want to share information about their new animated television series based on the popular female action figures from IAmElemental<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

What is IAmElemental?<\/h2>\n

IAmElemental<\/strong> is the popular, first-of-its-kind, action figure created by Julie Kerwin<\/strong>, designed specifically for children. The characters are based on the periodic table of elements turned on it’s head to represent character traits. Each series is a “capsule collection” of seven character traits (4-inch tall action figures) sold as a set; and a separately sold larger figure (6.5-inch tall) possessing all seven characteristics. Series one (“Courage”) is based on Joan of Arc.<\/p>\n

Who is the target audience?<\/h2>\n

The target audience is children ages 6-12. While the characters are female, it appeals to girls\u00a0and<\/em> boys.<\/p>\n

How are they different from other female action figures?<\/h2>\n
