Mark your calendars for the largest Earth Day event in Los Angeles! Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 is STAR Eco Station’s 17th Annual Children’s Earth Day family festival. Named the “Best Earth Day Pick” by the L.A. Times, as well as the “Best Children’s Earth Day” by L.A. Parent Magazine, this mega-festival will feature rescued animal encounters, celebrity guests, eco-friendly games and rides, environmental exhibits, student performances, face-painting, tons of food vendors, and more special surprises.
Founded in 1997, STAR Eco Station is dedicated to saving the lives of endangered exotic wildlife and creating a new generation of environmentalists who are committed to protecting Planet Earth. All proceeds from Children’s Earth Day will go directly towards the care of our rescued animals.

Wolves from Project Wildsong
Project Wildsong is a non-profit with a mission is to dispel the myths and misconceptions concerning wolves and native, North American wildlife. Through education, collaboration, and conservation, they raise awareness and inspire coexistence. Meet wolves from Game of Thrones!
Star Eco Station Tours
Hands on lessons in ecology and environmentalism through breathtaking encounters with exotic birds, reptiles, mammals and ocean life in a tropical jungle setting. Discounted tours offered.
Butterfly Garden and Bee exhibit
I don’t have any information on this, but it’s supposed to be awesome and it’s from Jean’s Butterfly Garden.
Yummy food vendors. Meat-free event. Plenty of options. Did someone say “funnel cake”?
