Halloween Costuming

There must be a connection between being a mother and wanting to craft. I’m not sure if it’s the desire to be frugal or an experiment in creativity. Regardless, I decided I’m making my daughter’s Halloween costume this year. I want to make the costume “Boo” wore in Monster’s Inc. Ever since I put her hair in pigtails (I think that was around 6 months), people have said she looks like “Boo.” So Boo she shall be!

I’m not sure if I’m going over my head with this, because my sewing skills are quite lackluster. However, I’ve already bought some non-refundable materials so I guess I’ll give it a go.

Here is my Pinterest board for costume inspiration: http://www.pinterest.com/westsidemommyLA/halloween-costume/

Wish me luck!
