The Lego Movie World – a new land at Legoland California

On Thursday, May 27th, 2021, Legoland California premiered it’s new land, THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD, to the public. We were invited as guests to experience it firsthand. The Lego Movie World is located in the former “Lego Friends” area of the park and brings the characters to life from the hit movies: The LEGO® Movie™ and The LEGO® Movie™ 2: The Second Part. This area features six interactive attractions:

Emmet’s Flying Adventure Ride

Emmet’s Flying Adventure Ride is a “flying couch” where guests are immersed in a sensory experience that takes virtual twists, turns, and dips through different lands, such as Middle Zealand, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Pirates Cove and the Sistar System. A full-dome virtual screen, combined with wind and aromatic scents complete the experience.
