Upcoming Event Alert: Club MomMe Spring Family Fest

Spring Fest Flyer

I received an invitation to Club MomMe‘s OC Spring Family Fest on Saturday, June 7th at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach. I’m excited to attend this fantastic event with my family. As a new mom, I’m constantly searching for answers and suggestions on products, parenting, classes, and balancing work and taking care of my home, and that’s just for starters. This way, I not only get access to experts in the field, but I can do it in ONE PLACE…a place that just happens to be one of the most beautiful locations in Southern California.

One speaker I’m particularly excited to see is Dr. Harvey Karp. He’s become kind of a celebrity to me after I saw [easyazon_link asin=”0972179526″ locale=”US” new_window=”yes” nofollow=”default” tag=”westmomm-20″]The Happiest Baby on the Block[/easyazon_link] while I was pregnant. I’m pretty psyched he’s addressing toddler issues as well ([easyazon_link asin=”B008COWR70″ locale=”US” new_window=”yes” nofollow=”default” tag=”westmomm-20″]The Happiest Toddler On The Block[/easyazon_link]), because my daughter is at that stage.

I’m definitely going to check out their suggestions on which car seat would be best to transition my daughter to. As tiny as she is, I think she is FINALLY getting too big for her infant car seat!

I’m glad there is a place for dads at this event! I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to convince my husband to join me, but there will be a “Daddy Lounge,” which is kind of like a man-cave. Beer and munchies. He’s in!

What I’m also looking forward to is the “Entrepreneurship for Parents” panel to help me navigate my new ventures and help me balance them along with being a mom!
